Welcome Back!

April 28, 2008 - 2 Responses

It’s been MONTHS since I’ve checked in.  That’s pretty sad that I couldn’t come by once a month to post something.

The depression has been horrible and my energy levels are very low.

How are YOU?  Leave me a comment to let me know what you are up to lately.  I try to check the blogs I love at least once a week.

WORK:  Sucks big time!  Who knew I’d have such “drama” in Accounts Payable.  Our supervisor is an idiot and the two ladies I work with, well, they’ve been there too long.  Their nickname for me is Kiddo and I’m 40!!!

KIDS: Doing good.  We were looking into a school in NC for our oldest.  It seems he has certain teachers who don’t like to follow his 504 plan for education.  But we found a friend who is willing to tutor for a small fee so the school is on the back burner for now.  Our youngest is just great.  He’s getting straight A’s!

SEPARATION:  Going forward.  Hopefully I can be out of here by mid June/early July.  We are just working on separating things in the house and I am saving up some money to buy what I need.  There’s gonna be a big garage sale in June!  Husband is more than happy to get rid of me, but I think he’s going to realize how much I really did do around here.  I know I’ll miss him doing the laundry.

MY DAD: He’s doing well.  Keeping busy.  Traveling.  He misses my mom so much.  I don’t notice it as much because I was use to not seeing her everyday.  But there are days I miss her so much I can’t stop crying.

VOLUNTEER WORK:  I have decided to drop most of my school volunteer work.  I am planning to still be Treasurer unless someone else really wants it.  I am dropping the newsletter editor position and room parent position.  I will be in Cub Scouts until February 2010 when our youngest bridges over to Boy Scouts.  Husband volunteered to be the Cubmaster of our Pack until then as well.

WEIGHT:  I’ve dropped a total of 55 pounds since Dec ‘06.  I’m pretty happy about having to buy new clothes now.  I still need to lose about 120 but am well on my weigh (oops…way).

New Job

November 8, 2007 - One Response

It’s official.  I got a new job.  At the same company I work at now through a temp agency.  I interviewed a few weeks ago and was offered the job last week.  I had to pass the background check and that was all finished today.  I start as an actual employee on Monday.  I’m nervous and excited.  I will miss the job I have been doing but am looking forward to learning a new aspect of this company.

I should probably mention that I was also elected (pushed into) Cub Scout Treasurer.  Sure, that’s what I need.  Another thing to take up my evenings!

Here’s what I already do and don’t get paid for:

PTA Treasurer

School Newsletter Editor

Room Parent

Cub Scout Den Leader

and now Cub Scout Treasurer

At least now everyone knows why I don’t have much time to blog.
